Hi, I’m Andrea, and my husband Chad and I own the Wild Bean Vanilla Company. I write and manage this blog for our company, and also do most of the social media interactions, so if you’re engaging with us on Facebook or Twitter, you’re most likely talking to me, although Chad does chime in from time to time. Chad answers the sales emails, so if you’re using that email, you’re likely talking to him! We are a licensed business, based in Mesa, Arizona.
About Our Products
We specialize in vanilla extracts, beans, and related goods including ground vanilla, vanilla caviar and other flavored extracts. From start to finish, we hand-make, bottle, label and package every single bottle of Madagascar Bourbon extract and our Tahitian extract. We import our Mexican extract from an FDA-Approved supplier. Our beans are imported from the finest vanilla plantations in Madagascar, Mexico, PNG, and Tahiti. We also hand make the vanilla sugar, and are currently testing a vanilla salt. In addition we carry ground vanilla and vanilla caviar.
Our Story – How Did We Get Here?!
About three years ago, a dear friend gave us a bottle of real handcrafted vanilla extract. We were amazed at what a HUGE difference it made in the taste of our baked goods. Vanilla brings out the best flavors in cookies, cakes ice cream and well, pretty much everything! After we used the bottle she gave us, we started making our own. For Christmas the following year, we made vanilla extract for family and friends, and our children’s teachers. Everyone else seemed to like it as well – it got rave reviews from everyone we talked to! Since we got such great feedback, and we enjoyed making it, we opened Wild Bean Vanilla Company!
